This Is War - Paul Washer

Thank you very much for posting. This is the first time I have ever seen your blog (I’m not even a member on the site). I Googled Paul Washer and I ended up here. When I realized it was geared toward godly women I thought “oh that’s great… but I’m not a woman so it probably doesn’t apply to me much”. But I was curious, partly because I watch a lot of Paul Washer and wanted to see other content. So I started looking through and I realized that almost everything said about women here can be flipped to apply to me as well. It also was a means by which God has now exposed an inward trend in my thoughts about finding a Proverbs 31 woman. Although none of it was manifested in action, looking back now I can see how my standards have slowly been compromised over the last few months, and although nothing came of it, by God’s grace, it was indeed a dangerous thing. It can be easy, especially at my university, to make certain compromises to be accepted.
As for the video itself, it is a harsh, but much needed, rebuke to my own recent shortcomings as a man of God, and how I have been more concerned with temporal things (studies, relationships, etc.) than I should be. Not that some of these are bad, but I was focusing on them rather than on God, and slipping into a practical atheism. But I hope now God is taking me back out again (Partly why I was watching Paul Washer again, he often gets right to the point)
Finally I would like thank you for taking a Biblical stand on feminism and other issues that are so contrary to our culture at large, and it encourages me and humbles me at the same time. I commend you for your efforts, and of course praise God, for it is truly all of Him. I pray God continues to use you as a light in our dark world, and wish the best as a brother in Christ.

Thank you for your comment, Jake. God is very good and I am so thankful that He reminds me every day, of my own insignificance without Him and His outpouring of loving grace. The basic principles of Christianity are the same for men and women as followers of Jesus Christ; (with the exceptions of men and women's roles etc.) but, because I am woman, it is only biblical that I address things from my feminine perspective. : ) But nonetheless, I am very happy to hear that you drew things from my posts as well. I know that there is nothing I can do apart from Him, and so it really brings joy to my heart for others to see a separation from the world in my life, even though I have such a long way to go in my sanctification; because it shows me that God is working through me in spite of my innumerable shortcomings. He is so gracious to take our dead lives and bring new life to them!!

God bless you abundantly!!
